Job Description
As a member of the catering and events team, you'll be responsible for providing exemplary customer service throughout the entirety of the event and its planning. Responsibilities will differ depending on your position for the event, while all roles will enjoy a flexible schedule and a variety of experiences, venues and guests.
Responsibilities
- Offer excellent customer service throughout the entirety of the business relationship
- Prepare, store and/or transport food items following all safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in event set up and/or breakdown as needed
- Adhere to venue and vendor strict time schedules
- For waitstaff, provide friendly and efficient service and bus as needed

The Capitol Grill is located inside the Texas State Capitol, in Austin, Texas. Our physical address is 1400 Congress Avenue, and we can be found in the Capitol Extension, room E1.002. Our restaurant is open to the public for everyone from visitors to legislators and everyone in between. We offer in house dining for breakfast and lunch, as well as catering for groups and banquet room rentals for your events.
