Job Description
Maple Street Biscuit Company is a fast-casual breakfast and lunch restaurant with a mission to help people, serve others, and be a part of the community.
We serve fresh-made comfort food with a modern twist from 7 am - 2 pm, Monday to Sunday.
We are looking for full and part-time team members to join our family.
What can you expect from a job at Maple Street?
You'll be very busy. You'll rarely work evenings as regular hours are 6 am-3 pm (We only open evenings for special events)
Team members will get crossed trained on a few of the following positions.
- Biscuit: Learn a skill you can use for life - making our flaky, buttery biscuits from scratch
- Make: Make all our amazing made from scratch food, like sausage gravy and apple butter.
- Ambassador: More than just a cashier, our Ambassadors greet our guests, walks them through the Maple Street experience, and take their order.
- Coffee/Barista: We believe there's never enough coffee!
- Grill/Fry: Keep us going with hand-breaded goat cheese and eggs.
- Deli: You'll plate our comfort food with a modern twist quickly and accurately. The guests depend on you!
- Clean: Washing dishes isn't a thankless role at Maple Street - it's one of the most critical roles on the team.
Responsibilities
- What are we looking for in a new team member?
- No restaurant experience is needed.
- A desire to learn. You could be making biscuits, greeting guests, making lattes, cooking our house-made food, working the grill, or cleaning dishes on any given day.
- Graciousness. We treat all people with gracious service, and we expect the same of you.
- Dependability. Your team counts on you to show up on time for your scheduled shifts.
- Sense of urgency. We want to get the food out to our guests in under 6 minutes, so we like to see some hustle.
- Ability to work weekends- these are our busiest days to meet more of our community, so it takes a bigger team to care for them well.
