Job Description
As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning all prep equipment, silverware, glassware and dishes according to sanitation requirements. You'll be responsible for keeping the dish pit orgranized and assist the kitchen in keeping the line and prep areas organized and clean. Your pace is critical to turning tables, so a strong work ethic is key to success. Looking to hire someone part time.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwasher
- Look out for and report repair needs
- Wash glassware by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean trash and recycling bins
- Rotate dishes
- Clean dish storage
- Assist kitchen staff as needed

About Paw-Paw's Catfish House
Ever since I was a little girl I have been fishing and hunting with my Paw-Paw and Maw-Maw. We would catch fish that were bigger than I was and I always remember how much fun we had. We would have big fish fry’s in the back yard and all of our friends and family would come. Paw-Paw would always fry catfish and hushpuppies until everyone was so full they could not eat any more. I remember running around and playing and enjoying life! As I grew up I spent my last 20 years in the restaurant business learning and one day hoping that I would have a restaurant of my own. It finally happened and I know my Paw-Paw and Maw-Maw are smiling down on us!
My husband and I have worked hard to create a place here in Bastrop that people will enjoy coming to. The walls are decorated with pictures of my family doing what they loved most- Fishing. Our menu is simple and all of our food is hand battered to order. We want you to come here, bring your family, have a great time and keep coming back.
Our motto here is Fish, Family and Big Stories! We know that with fishing always comes big stories! Stop by sometime soon and lets swap stories!
