Job Description
This position consists mainly (not limited too) preparing food items that need portioned and prepped for line cooks to use. The prep should be aware of product that is wasted and unused that would increase food cost or extra waste. They should be aware of prep guidelines for portion control and pars. The prep should know pars for the week day and weekend needs, knowing that more should be prepped on the weekend. They should follow and adhere to all sanitation and ServSafe guidelines for proper food preparation and stock in the coolers. The prep will be required to stock items that are delivered in the cooler using the FIFO (first in, first out) method. They should stay busy through their shift and properly clean their station before ending their shift.
