Job Description
"The Server must be professional with high-energy and excellent oral communication skills. The Server
serves food and drinks and introduces the daily specials and limited time offers. The Server uses
hospitality and style to ensure that each diner leaves “Panza Llena, Corazon Contento®”.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
-Spanish is a plus but not required.
-Must be TABC-Certified.
-Must have Food Handler Certificate.
-Must be a team player.
-Hospitality and customer service oriented.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and
decimals.
-Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
COMPUTER SKILLS
-Familiarity with point of sales system preferred.
-Basic computer skills is a plus.
Physical Requirements
-Stands and walks on uneven, slippery, and/or wet surface for at least eight consecutive hours.
-Speaks and listens in-person to staff and customers for at least eight consecutive hours.
-Speaks through radio and listens through earpiece for at least eight consecutive hours.
-Clearly observes customer service in the dining room from up to one hundred feet.
-Routinely lifts, stoops, kneels, bends, pushes, and pulls up to 25 pounds, and reaches overhead.
-Routinely carries full service tray.
-Performs moderately strenuous activity for at least eight consecutive hours.
-Performs other physical requirements necessary to perform duties and responsibilities."
Responsibilities

- Takes food and drink orders accurately and promptly.
- Knows and can answer questions about or make recommendations for all menu items.
- Practices safety procedures.
- Complies with all food and beverage regulations and procedures.
- Properly handles cash and proves correct change to guests.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Completes all related tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
- Enters food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Properly process guests’ payments.
- Ensures the balance of the bank at the end of the shift.
- Handles guest complaints or problems with a positive attitude and courteous manner.
- Adheres to our Alcohol Service Policy.
- Other duties as assigned."
