Job Description
Subway is hiring a qualified Cashier to become a valuable team member on our Dallas, TX staff now. Your responsibilities as cashier on our staff will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important skill of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly customer service to ensure guests will return.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
- Take guests’ food orders and handle cash/credit transactions
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
- Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Quickly and accurately prepare food items
